Ranking the 6th Place Finishers

As I've done all season, I will continue to rank the finishers. This week is a bit tough, since it was not specified which order Chris and Phil finished, but let's assume (perhaps incorrectly) that because Phil's elimination was announced first that he was this year's 6th place contestant, with Chris coming in at #5.

Please note, rankings are determined on American Idol performances only, not on what they have accomplished since their time on the show.

1. Constantine Maroulis (Season 4)
Best Known For: Along with Bo Bice, he was Season 4's rocker; signature "come hither" look into the camera
Best Performance: "Bohemian Rhapsody"
Worst Performance: "How You Remind Me"
Post-AI: Quite a bit actually: stints on Broadway in The Wedding Singer and Off-Broadway in Jacques Brel is Alive and Well; begins appearances on "The Bold and the Beautiful" later this month; debut CD set for release later this year

2. Phil Stacey (Season 6)
Best Known For: Missing his baby's birth for his initial audition; being a bald-headed sailor
Best Performance: "Where the Black Top Ends"
Worst Performance: "I Need You"
Post-AI: We'll see...

3. Christina Christian (Season 1)
Best Known For: Being very pretty; serenading Simon in her initial audition; eliminated from the hospital, where she was being treated for "exhaustion"
Best Performance: "Ain't No Sunshine"
Worst Performance: "When A Man Loves a Woman"
Post AI: Was supposedly recording a CD that has yet to materialize

4. Kellie Pickler (Season 5)
Best Known For: Season 5's lovable, ditzy country girls
Best Performance: "Fancy"
Worst Performance: "Bohemian Rhapsody"
Post AI: A surprisingly successful recording career, including a gold album, two hit singles, and a couple of major country music award nominations

5. Carmen Rasmussen (Season 2)
Best Known For: Making it into the Top 12 after not having been selecting for that year's Top 32
Best Performance: "Turn the Beat Around"
Worst Performance: "Can't Stop the Moonlight"
Post AI: Serves as an Idol correspondent for a couple of news organizations; supposedly releasing a country CD later this year

6. John Stevens (Season 3)
Best Known For: Season 3's crooner; sticking around way longer than he should have (he outlasted Jennifer Hudson, people!)
Best Performance: If I have to choose one, I'll go with, um, "Lately" (?)
Worst Performance: "Music of My Heart" (but really, most of his performances were pretty bad)
Post AI: Released a standards CD, called "Red"

Constantine too high, Kellie too low.

Kellie was the best.

I have to disagree with what you said about kellie pickler. While fancy was a good performance so was b. r., her worst performance was the ghost theme song. she butchered that so much, even me who had been voting not stop for her stopped voting that night.

Kellie is way better than where she is ranked. She should easily be ranked ahead of the 'showboating' Maroulis.
