We may have lost some of TV's finest leading ladies in the last week or so, but it's possible we haven't seen the last of Veronica Mars and Rory and Lorelai Gilmore.
According to Michael Ausiello over at TV Guide, Rob Thomas, the creator and executive producer, says that he is considering working on a feature film based on Veronica Mars. In addition, Amy Sherman-Palladino, who left Gilmore Girls at the end of last season, says that she is considering creating a 2-hour TV movie that would wrap up the series in a more conclusive way than last week's finale did. According to Ausiello, Scott Patterson (Luke), Alexis Bledel (Rory), and Lauren Graham (Lorelai) all expressed surprise that Palladino would consider such a move.
How's that for news?
Plans for both shows could, of course, could fall through very easily, but it would be hella exciting to see these dynamic women in different formats, wouldn't it? Stay tuned for more news...
