In an interview today with TV Week, American Idol executive producer Ken Warwick may have tipped us off to who will be victorious tonight, saying "the big singer always triumphs in the end." Based on his other comments on last night's performances, he could only be referring to Jordin Sparks.
While he had high praise for Blake's performance of Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name," he said that he wishes Blake had chosen a different second song instead of "She Will Be Loved," which he thought was too safe a choice.
He also acknowledged that the song that emerged as the winner of the songwriting competition was "much better suited for Jordin." Um, yeah...duh.
