While Taylor Hicks, Katharine McPhee, Chris Daughtry, and Kellie Pickler have all released albums in the last several months, my favorite AI5 contestant, Elliott Yamin, has been keeping a much lower profile since the show ended last May.
Well, that's all changing, because Elliott's debut album, released independently, will be in stores March 20 (just 2 weeks!)
One song, "Movin' On," is currently available for download on Itunes, where as of this morning it was at #30 on the list of Top 100 Songs. While "Movin' On," an upbeat, swingin' R&B number, is currently the only song available for purchase, it will apparently not be the first single. That honor will go to the song "Wait For You," which has already picked up about 50 spins on Top 40 radio.
Elliott's CD is available for preorder. How cute does he look on the cover? I'm rooting for ya, Elliott!
