Top 11 Performances: Haley Scarnato

Well, the producers certainly didn't do Haley any favors by placing her first on tonight's show. In addition to the fact that more viewers start watching the show as it goes on, she will be followed by 10 performances, so in order for her to really stick out she has got to be remarkable.

And truth be told, there were some remarkable things about Haley's performance. First, her legs. I mean, those legs are amazing. She really looked freakin' fantastic.

Second, she wasn't terrible...in fact, she was kinda good! Have I been too hard on Haley this whole time? She was playful, flirtatious, confident, and totally on pitch. I really didn't know she had it in her.

Problem is, though, the performance itself was not remarkable. There are bound to be at least a handful of far better vocals, and I'm afraid come voting time Haley's performance might get lost among the mix. But definitely her best of the competition so far.
