Top 12 Performances: Haley Scarnato

Wow, Haley is working the Katharine McPhee look tonight. She's wearing a dress that must have been left over from last season, her hair is big and voluptious like Kat's, and she even starts the song in an unconditional way (sitting on a stool). She starts the song off okay and I start to wonder if perhaps this is the year the "White Girl Spot" curse will be lifted.

But then her McPheever breaks and she starts forgetting the words. And singing waaaaaaay off pitch. And crying, like really crying. And suddently I'm wondering if it isn't called a curse (at least by me) for a reason.

Despite Simon's claim that she carries herself like a star, I think this girl's just out of her depth.
