It looks like the long wait for Elliott Yamin's debut album paid off, as he sold just short of 100K copies to finish at #3 on this week's album chart, right behind new releases from Modest Mouse and Joss Stone. Congratulations Elliott!
Elliott is joined in the Top 5 by fellow Season 5 alum Chris Daughtry, whose band Daughtry dropped just 6% and sold 74K for a #4 finish. Carrie Underwood, meanwhile, held steady in the Top 20, selling almost 37K copies for the #16 spot.
The Dreamgirls soundtrack, featuring Jennifer Hudson, has dropped out of the Top 50.
