Jennifer Hudson: The New Face of Avon



What a difference a few years and an Oscar can make. Avon announced on Wednesday that Jennifer Hudson will be the new face of Avon, acting as, according to CNN, the exclusive spokesperson for the Imari scent, which is Avon's best selling fragrance (who knew?).

Talk about vindication...with all the heat she took on American Idol for not "looking the part," I bet this feels almost as satisfying as winning that Oscar! Remember when she came into wildcard week looking like this?



It was clear from the get-go she could sing, but who knew we were looking at someone who would grace the cover of Vogue magazine and become the face of one of the most famous comsetic brands in the world? You go, Jennifer!

Wow! Jennifer photographs beautifully -- no wonder Avon is using her as their "face." I also think it's very good marketing on Avon's part to reach a younger target population.

simon's right, she's ungrateful and ignorant. She's talented but come on show some respect. And who cares about her being the new face of avon. Frankly no one cares.
