Daughtry Tops The Charts

Even though its been more than 3 months since his album was released, Chris Daughtry's band Daughtry returns to the top of the sales chart this week, moving just north of 90,000 copies. This is the second time Daughtry has held the #1 spot.

Carrie Underwood is at #15, with about 34,000 copies sold this week; the Dreamgirls sountrack, led by Jennifer Hudson, sold about 45,000 copies for the #8 spot; and Katharine McPhee sold about 16,000 CDs, good enough for a #42 finish. Season 5 champ Taylor Hicks, meanwhile, didn't make it into the Top 50.
