It's all come down to this.
After a summer full of crying, fighting, horrible name calling, backstabbing, smooching and more, the final 2 Big Brother 8 contestants are Dick and Daniele Donato. They started off their time in the house arguably estranged, and they've since become one of the most powerful pairs in Big Brother history. But who's gonna take home the big $500K prize?
Later today I'll give my final guesses as to who each of the Jury members will vote for, but for now I'm giving the Idol Thoughts endorsement for Big Brother winner to...
Daniele.
The 21-year old blonde has straight-up played this game better than anyone else in the house. She won more competitions than any of her houseguests. She told bold-faced lies without batting an eye. She stayed loyal to her strongest alliance (with her father) from beginning to end. She noticed strange things as they were happening (Eric's stray votes, for example), and instantly put on her strategizing cap to get to the bottom of things. And, above all else, she realized that she needed to distance herself from her father enough to not be held responsible for the things that were coming out of his mouth. She wasn't entirely successful in this last endeavor, but I think she did enough to keep herself in decent standing with the rest of the house.
Bottom line -- the girl played the game like a pro.
Thus, Daniele Donato, whiny, bratty and annoying as she may be, gets the Idol Thoughts endorsement for Big Brother champ.
What a summer, indeed.

I hate them both. I hope the Jury picks the true manipulator of the game and that is Dick. He formed the alliance with Eric and Jessica
which got them further in the game! Daniele was the smirking evil princess who encouraged her Dad to rage at everyone...Did you notice how pleased she looked when he started in on Zach for the final HOH. If the Jury flips their vote and gives Daniele the money...either way..her Dad will never see her again..unless she has a chance to further her career with him...which would be a stretch..he is so slimy...a farting, belching, spitting, raging monster!!
two scenarios here.
a) danielle gets the 500K and the dick gets 50K. danielle never speaks to her father again. the dick spends his 50K on cancer sticks. in this scenario, danielle is happy. the dick is unhappy.
b) the dick gets the 500K and danielle gets 50K. danielle never speaks to her father again. the dick spends his 500K on cancer sticks. in this scenario, both the dick and danielle are unhappy.
considering how evil and rotten the donatos behaved in the house, the only truly just outcome can be the one where both of them leave as unhappy and miserable as they made everyone else (other houseguests and viewers alike). that is scenario b). danielle doesn't get the money, blames her father, and never speaks to him again. in turn, this denies the dick the one thing he claims he wants more than anything else (a relationship with his whiny, spoiled brat of a daughter), thus making him unhappy as well. he then proceeds to spend all 500K on cancer sticks, thus speeding his demise from this earth... and all of the viewers who had to suffer these insufferable donatos win!
... that's just schadenfreude and karma doing a weird tango together! :)
I hate the pair, the show, & CBS.
The Donatos are great. CBS is no better and no worse than other networks. It's a TV show, not real, and never will be. Hating people on a TV show is just ridiculuos. Hate someone truly bad like Osama Bin Laden. Don't watch the show if it's so terrible. And finally, grow up.
