One thing was clear, from beginning to end of tonight's Big Brother episode on CBS -- Daniele is the master manipulator.
First there was the HOH competition. She directed her father to "talk to" Zach, in an effort to distract him. Daniele is no idiot -- she knows what Dick "talking to" someone really sounds like. So the barrage of insults that Zach withstood over the next 6 hours was conceived of by Daniele. As I said, master manipulator.
Once she was eliminated from the competition, she sobbed convulsively, for a solid half hour, then realized her fate in the game depended on how her father did in the competition. So she got her shit together, went outside and gave him what she knew he wanted most -- to hear that she loves him. Talk about good timing. True, he ended up quitting anyways, but she was pulling out every trick in the estranged daughter book to get him to win. Brilliant.
Finally, there was her goodbye message to Zach. How savvy to play up their "friendship," when she knows Zach will be voting in just five days. The girl definitely knows what she is doing.
Alas, Dick and Daniele Donato are the final 2., and evil has prevailed in the house. Do I think Daniele is a bad person? No. Do I think she has encouraged and benefited from the way that Dick has treated people in the house? Absolutely.
She is, after all, the master manipulator.

manipulator or not-why is that that those of you who dont like the donatos only comment on the rude things that happen on the feeds? what about her making zach a hot drink? making BOTH guys soup and grilled cheese?? there has been many nice things that she has done, but much like big bro you choose to leave those things out of your articles and only print the things that are slanted the direction you want it to go.

I didn't want Dick or Daniel to win at first, but with the Stupid America's player twist I said what the hell let them win it all.
They both were masters of the game, Dick was the enforcer and dani the the veto machine. They ran the house one would win when they needed to and played eveyone when they needed to. Who cares what the weak minded Jury says! Dick And Dani made BB8 and ruled the season!
I WAS a longtime BB fan UNTIL this year. A bunch of simpering idiots with the lamest twist ever is all I ever saw. I quit watching after the first two weeks. The fact that they never threw Dick out for the attitudes and especially the tea incident I will not watch again! That is assault and he should have been disqualified imeediately!
if i were Zach, i would have layed into Dick during part 1 of the HOH with every vicious, vulgar, sexist, nasty thing i could say about DANIELLE!!! Dick thinks only he can get away with being abusive. but if his darling little princess were to be subjected to the same vile rants that he subjected the rest of the house to, he would have come unglued, attacked Zach, and been evicted on the spot, leaving Zach and Danielle in the final 2 without even needing to play parts 2 and 3 of the HOH. the result, Zach wins $500K from the jury. oh, and once Dick threw the first punch, Zach would have been free to kick the lving sh*t out of that 44-year old POS.
Well the grusome twosome has taken it all...to say it is a dsappointment would be the understatement of the year, however at the last vote I'd rather see Dick take the big money than Daniele. Maybe even redeem himself some and donate a good portion to his Mom and the work she is involved in. He is disgusting and abusive and ultimately a coward...remember he wants bodyguards at the wrap party so I guess he truly knows what he did through out the game was not only lowest of the lows... but ultimately could bring a serious backlash to him personally....However bad he is the daughter is worse yet. As for Daniele... everything this self centered selfish child has done is about her and only her...and indeed she is the 'master manipulator with such a mean spirited streak in her a mile wide, so called acts of kindnesses were done as she has always been savy enough to know that jury votes count and this was also done to percieve her as the better of the two DD's...she is every bit as self involved if not more so than Jen... Dick's the abuser but Daniele is the biggest of fakes and Users and I don't see her changing even after the show. Wake up Dick this is an adult child ... stop catering to her and she may develop some character... or not.
Actually, I thought this was the best BB season ever. To see the evolution of the Dick and Daniele relationship was absolutely fascinating.
There were some real players in the house, and as Zach said when he left, he played against the best.
One interesting thing - when Daniele first appeared, I really thought she had an eating disorder since she was alarmingly skinny. Her father, Dick, noticed the same thing – and you can see his harping on her to eat and take her vitamins.
During the veto competition where she was in the tanks in a bikini, she looked great and quite normal.
I really think that during this season we were able to witness a true and very positive transformation in two people's lives – which we don’t see too often in reality TV.
Yes, she was the master manipulator, but she still has not won the 500K. IF she wins the big $(she did not do this for the 50K), her dad will be sooooooo happy and proud for her. He will also expect to continue to improve their relationship.(pipe dream) HOWEVER, if her dad wins the 500K, he can forget the relationship. She will blame him for her not winning the big prize. He will have to GIVE her his winnings to please little Ms. Princess and then wonder the rest of his life "Did I buy her love?" when in reality he really never had her respect, much less her love.
I've watched this show since BB1, never becoming addicted, until this year. Watching the feral Donatos and their prey, feels the same way I did, growing up in the back of my father's Funeral Home...peaking through lace curtains with morbid curiosity at grieving people. I am that disgusted with myself, but I just can help watching. . . I'm exhausted from staying up till 3am every nite. Thanks God it's almost over.
I agree that the Father/Daughter evolving relationship has been quite fascinating to watch. I disagree with any who say He's the abuser, and she is the user. I say they are both genetically ruthless .From a long line of Abusers, yes. More like wild dogs, roaming around the hamsters. Danielle is just a puppy, and her fangs aren't that sharp yet. She's been trying them out on her father for the past few years. And we have gotton to witness it live on the She rips his heart to shreds. Telling him she loves him was truly the grandest device she's used, yet. His utmost dream has come true. SHE LOVES HIM. Halleluiah. Uh uh, I don't think so. This has been a learning experience for her. She's alot "sharper" now. and knows how to go for the kill. The way CBS/BB8 has manipulated their audience, through very questionable editing; I won't be surprised if they've been coaching her during all her diary room visits. I can just hear them..."Danielle, he doesn't deserve the money. If he wins, you should get at least half. But, if you win, don't give him ANY. And make sure you announce that on our finale show".
Woof! to you, Danielle. The final sadistic blow is within your reach. You've verbally decimated every person from the BB8 house, (including Nick's family, or so I've read on other blogs)You've shown yourself for what your are, deep down to the bone, and it's the ugliest person I've ever seen on TV, including your Dad and Ed Sullivan. ewh.
Go for the Gold, Danielle. Don't give him a dime. Divine retribution for him .... And hopefully, you'll get yours, later...and I don't mean the money.
