Well, it was fun while it lasted.
He was cute. He was a flirt. He made sexually ambiguous comments. He gave himself a terrible haircut.
Yep, Big Brother's Nick certainly gave us a lot to talk about in the first few weeks of this season. And now he's gone.
Was it the smartest move the houseguests could have made? Absolutely. He had been playing all sides from the very get-go, was not afraid to cozy up to any girl (or guy) that he thought might help him in the game, and distracted Daniele from her own strategy as he tried to woo her away from her boyfriend. I'm all for "showmances," but there was something dirty about the way he was pursuing Daniele, especially knowing that her boyfriend was probably watching the whole thing from home. He was taking advantage of the fact that she was lonely, and it just didn't sit right with me.
He was cute though. I'll give him that.
Other thoughts on last night's show:
-Dick is abusive. I don't like Jen, I really don't, but no one deserves to be spoken to the way he speaks to her. And pouring the iced tea on her head? It doesn't get much more juvenile than that.
-Amber's crying has gotten out of control. But I say, keep it comin', because, as far as I'm concerned, it has become the single funniest running gag in the history of Big Brother. Watching her wail "I love you soooooo much" is nothing but comic genius.
-I hate Head of Household competitions that carry over. We watch this show 3 times a week, CBS -- do you really need to manipulate us into subscribing to the live feed (which a lovely, but gullible, friend of mine did last night)? If you want to know who won, here it is (if not, leave now!).....
