Eek.
She sounds pretty good, though, and the song is a bit catchy (although just a bit). It kinda feels like one of the High School Musical songs -- which, while it works for Zac Efron and company, isn't really a great model for pop music success.

I agree about Jordan's new song. She sounds ok, but if you'll excuse the pun, there just aren't any sparks...
I happen to like Jordin song. I think it's very catchy. I also think that its very radio friendly. I sometimes feel people due reviews of the Idols songs just so they can say something negative. Yes, it a lot like what's out there but, so is everything else. Radio is full of much of the same. This is from almost every artist who's in the top 40. Nothing today is very original.
Be that as it may, some songs do try to rise above. And honestly, everyone who came from Idol have that as an added obstacle to overcome on order to be seen as an artist (and not just a reality show contestant). SO coming up with something this generic doesn't help.
Jordin needs a blockbuster and I don't think this is it. Her voice sounds great, but this song is nothing we haven't heard a ton of already.
