I Have Heard the New Kelly Clarkson Song -- And it ROCKS!

I have heard the new Kelly Clarkson song -- and it ROCKS!

Actually, it is more accurate to say that I have heard a remix of the new song, called "Never Again," which is available as part of a promotion that Kelly is doing with Vitamin Water. Apparently, if you purchase a 12-pack of Vitamin Water at Walmart, you will be given access to a download code of a remix of Kelly's new song, which is scheduled for radio release later this week.

But back to the (very eagerly awaited) song -- it's AWESOME. Featuring a bit of a harder edge than Kelly's previous material, she sings (spectacularly) of how she will "never again" believe a lover who has betrayed her. Her voice has a raw edge, but has the unmistakable, thrilling power we've come to expect from Ms. C. While this song (or the remix, at least) is not as instantly memorable as "Since U Been Gone," there is something almost hypnotic about it, and after several listens, the depth of the lyrics and music comes shining through.

I think our girl's got another hit on her hands.

Give Kelly the Fort Worth telephone book and she'd make it a number one hit on the Billboard charts. She is a phenomenal vocalist!!

I totally agree! The new Kelly song is absolutely outstanding! Clarkson is a huge fan of Alanis Morissette's mind blowing mega album, "Jagged Little Pill", and believe me she's taken her own music to that angst ridden plateau on this song. Rock on Kelly... can't wait to hear more.

I am huge Kelly Clarkson fan but I hate the new song- it's up on youtube- granted, it is only a remix and hopefully the non-mix will be better but I think it's awful. There is no melody- just a bunch of "shouting"- there's no "hook" and I think the lyrics are uninspired- as I have been waiting a long time for this, I can't tell you how disappointed I am.
