Top 9 Performances: Haley Scarnato

Subtle, but who else caught this – in her pre-performance interview, Ryan asked Haley if she was more nervous singing in front of the audience of the judges, and she responded that hearing what Simon had to say made her nervous. And Randy and Paula were pissed – they practically refused to actually judge her! I love it!

I also love that Tony Bennett basically called Haley a slut. Sing it to one person, girl!

As for Haley’s performance, it actually wasn’t half bad. In fact, I’d probably say it was her best of the competition so far. Sure, it felt a little bit striptease-esque, but I thought she handled the changes in tempo far better than I expected her to.

And although she looked great tonight, at this point her obsession with her legs is getting to be a bit much, almost Sanjya/hair proportions. Has anyone seen the cover of People? It’s practically a Maxim spread!
