Daughtry Remains in Top 10, Elliott Drops Out of Top 30

After a stellar first week of sales, Elliott Yamin's debut CD dropped a whopping 72% this week, moving 27K copies for a #31 finish. Perhaps as his single starts to gain radio airplay (it is currently just outside the Top 50 on pop stations) his sales will pick up again.

Idol is well represented on the top of the chart, though, with Daughtry holding on in the Top 10, with sales dropping just 11% for a #6 finish . Carrie Underwood also refuses to leave the top half of the chart, this week securing a #17 spot with just under 40K CD's sold.

Gwen Stefani, meanwhile, seems to have received a nice bump from her Idol appearance, increasing a very impressive 73% for a #14 showing.
