Will Kelly Clarkson's Fourth Album Come Out By The End of 2008?

It's been a year full of highs and lows for Kelly Clarkson -- a much-publicized battle with her record company and less-than-stellar sales and reviews for her third album My December, followed by a hit country single, her fourth career Grammy nomination and a successful tour with Reba McEntire.

So what's next?

According to internet rumblings and reports from Kelly herself -- a new album!

Website tophitsonline.com is reporting that Clarkson's new album will be released on November 18, 2008. While no one from Kelly's camp has confirmed that date, blog posts from the singer herself have shown that she is, in fact, spending time in the recording studio. She is working with One Republic lead singer Ryan Tedder (co-writer of "Bleeding Love"), Curtis Richardson, Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello, among others.

At least one person thinks this album will be a smash -- Ryan Tedder told KIIS FM DJ Jojo "I mean, I'm a little biased, cause I'm workin' on it, but, I think she's gonna have the best album yet."

Stay tuned for more news...

That's good news, I liked her last cd, My December. But, I'm ready for something new, and to hear her back on the radio with some new stuff. I still hear her songs from Breakaway a lot.

That's Fantastic news! I think I'm the only one on the planet who actually liked My December. The song "Sober" is incredable, as well as several other tracks. I'm really looking forward to her new CD and hope some "old guy" doesnt feel it's neccesary to trash her music cause she doesnt see things his way. Go for it Kelly!!!

Gotta admit, I loved Breakaway the best but My December was a great second place choice. It's sooo disappointing that the radio never played anything from it; some very good stuff there. And - YES - I really enjoyed Thankful as a first album... pretty amazing trio of work in these first three.
