After last week's surprise elimination of Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan, fans of Dancing with the Stars were braced for another shocker of an ouster. No go, this time -- Jane Seymour, as expected, was given the boot.
Hats off to Jane, who definitely took the competition seriously and looks like a million bucks for her age, but she just couldn't keep up with the young whippersnappers still left on the show. Participating in the competition clearly meant a lot to her (as the fact that she choked back tears upon the news of her elimination illustrates), but it was definitely time for her to go.
So who's gonna win this thing? Will it be Helio or Cameron, the two remaining men, or Mel B., Marie or Jennie Garth? My money is on Mel at the moment, but don't count out a groundswell effort for any of the remaining contestants (including my personal favorite, Jennie).
My pick for the next to go? Cameron Mathison.
PS. Could that Kenny Mayne/Jerry Rice business lasted any longer? I mean!!

The whole Dance Center thing was to fill up time. Everything was ad libbed last night due to the writers strike. Even though it's a competition show, they still have script writers for the segments. I was reading an article about it earlier today. That's why the elimination at the end was rushed b/c they were just winging it and didn't leave time at the end.
