The headline pretty much says it all...I am boldly going on record as saying I think Warren Sapp and Kim Johnson will win Dancing with the Stars.
What, you say? He wasn't even in tonight's Top 3, and Brooke Burke has this competition all wrapped up?
A fair point. To this I'll argue, we're only halfway through -- and Warren's got charm to last another 6 months on this show, if necessary. On top of that, he's consistent -- aside from a slight misstep last week, he's performed strong week after week. And consider this -- the show's last four winners were athletes (Kristi Yamaguchi, Helio Castroneves, Apolo Anton Ono and Emmitt Smith). It's easy to imagine Warren in that company.
As for the Brooke Burke factor, the sheen is bound to wear off of her admittedly beautiful facade. Beyond that, though, pretty girls rarely do well in this competition, even when they are good dancers. Consider Stacey Kiebler (who was coincidentally in the audience tonight), who was probably Season 2's best dancer. She came in 3rd.
See, when it comes down to it, America wants to reward the most likable candidate. Sure, it helps if they can dance, and sometimes it even wins them the competition (a la Yamaguchi). But this season, I'm thinking lovable teddy bear Warren will come out on top.
Agree? Disagree? Let me know.

I agree with your prediction. Warren Sapp will win dancing with the stars. I really don't think anyone has his charm or charisma to actually pull of a win. Brooke is great, but I think personality goes along way in this and Warren definately has that over Brooke. Last season, Kristi won and she really didn't have any personality, but to be honest she really didn't have any competition. This season it actually seems like a competition.
I don't know why, but I just enjoy watching Warren more than the other stars, maybe because I'm always suprised at how well he's doing for a 300 pound guy.
I, too, agree. I hated Warren Sapp when this season of DWTS started for his football field antics and anger. I LOVE him now! He's a huggable, lovable teddy bear! Two questions: One - does anyone else notice that he can't keep his hands off of Kym? Little crush maybe? Two - Did he COMPLETELY get robbed on Monday night by the scores the judges gave him? I was SERIOUSLY waiting for him to get 3 10s and all he got was 25??? I couldn't believe it. I saw no mistakes in his routine. Maybe next week...
i'll be surprised if warren gets 3 10's ever. posture is a killer on that.
i think it is the hough's to lose, derek OR julianne.
my money is on the golden girl and the geeky kid. talk about lovable. can you imagine being a straight, presumably, teen age boy and getting THAT to play with. no wonder he can't keep his mind on dancing, lolz...
