Video: David Cook Singing the National Anthem at the NBA Finals

Like former American Idol winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks before him, David Cook sang the national anthem at the NBA Finals game last night -- and sounded great!

The guy's gotta be exhausted -- he's been performing non-stop since he won the show, and the American Idol tour is just gearing up, but he still managed to give the Anthem his patented rocker spin.

Here's a video of the Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice benefit held last week. Entitled "Good Medicine," the benefit was to raise money for the strike-affected crews of the two shows.

In the video you'll see Sara Ramirez, TR Knight, Ellen Pompeo, Katherine Heigl, Audra McDonald, Eric Dane, Chandra Wilson and many more. Some sing -- others joke. Ramirez and McDonald sing.

The video is not great quality, but if you couldn't make it to the benefit, this is the next best thing.

Hillary Clinton is projected to win the New Hampshire primary, after having been written off after getting beaten by Barack Obama. Could it have something to do with the video below?

On the Republican side, John McCain prevailed, leading Mitt Romney and, in a distant third and fourth places, Mike Huckabee and Rudy Giuliani.

Broadway's Idina Menzel Debuts New Songs on Whoopi's Radio Show

She broke onto the scene in Rent, and stole hearts (and the Tony Award) in Wicked, and now gorgeous Broadway star Idina Menzel, who has one of the best belting voices in the business, is releasing a solo album. Yay!

This is actually the second album Menzel has released -- she put out a CD a few years after Rent debuted that didn't really go anywhere. But based on the sound of her new songs (which she co-wrote with producer Glenn Ballard), this one may actually gain some traction.
