Like former American Idol winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks before him, David Cook sang the national anthem at the NBA Finals game last night -- and sounded great!
The guy's gotta be exhausted -- he's been performing non-stop since he won the show, and the American Idol tour is just gearing up, but he still managed to give the Anthem his patented rocker spin.

Video of Idina Menzel Wailing The National Anthem at the Patriots Game
Broadway star Idina Menzel wrapped her Tony-winning vocals around the National Anthem last week at the very high profile New England Patriots/New York Giants football game, in which the Patriots were going for a perfect season.
The crowd seems to love the Wicked star, cheering her on as she added some riffs to the anthem.

Jordin Sparks Will Sing National Anthem at the Super Bowl
Considering the game is on Fox, it's not a huge surprise that an American Idol champ will perform, but it's still big news that Jordin Sparks will sing the National Anthem at this year's Super Bowl. According to the Arizona Republic, the teenager will perform before the big game, which is being held this year on February 3.
Hopefully this will boost her album sales!
