How 'bout this for timing...two of the Final Four dancers on So You Think You Can Dance were rushed to the hospital over the weekend, just days before the finale of the show's fourth season.
Mary Murphy told People magazine this weekend at the Teen Choice Awards that two of the Top 4 finalists (Stephen ‘Twitch’ Boss, Katee Shean, Courtney Galiano and Joshua Allen) were sent for treatment for dehydration. While she (and the show's representatives) have not confirmed which dancers were ill, it seems that whichever two it was are now out of the hospital.
As a result, rehearsal ended early on Saturday, and was completely called off on Sunday. Since there was no rehearsal at all, according to Murphy, all of the dancers are "in the same boat."
I hope they're all okay!
In other So You Think You Can Dance news, the show was renewed today for a fifth season. Holla!

I hope that whomever was sent to the hospital is recovering well. I would hate to see something bad to happen to any one of the competitors.
First, I hope that all the contestants are now in good health and not suffering any continuing effects.
I am actually quite surprised, though, that Mary would say that they are "all in the same boat". This will naturally take a toll on those affected more than those who were not affected. If the two that were hospitalized are dancing together in a routine, then that pairing will likely have a disadvantage.
Also, I am a bit surprised that this even happened in the first instance. They do most, if not all, of their time with the choreographers at a studio on the west side of Los Angeles (across the street from Cedars-Sinai hospital, by the way). It was not that hot here this weekend, and it should not have been that hard to stay hydrated.
