Where isn't Carrie Underwood these days?
She was certainly at Movie Rocks last night, crooning The Sound of Music's title song. It's a different kind of singing for Carrie -- higher, actually, and more gentle than she is generally accustomed to. We even got a bit of head voice in there! It's not my favorite Carrie performance ever, but it does prove that there isn't much she can't do.

Former Idols Look Gorgeous At Movie Rocks
Grammy winner Carrie Underwood and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson brought the glamour to Movie Rocks, a concert celebrating the relationship between music and film.
Check out these pics of the girls -- don't they look gorgeous?
Carrie sang the title song from The Sound of Music, while J. Hud belted "Live and Let Die" from the James Bond flicks.
The show will air on this Friday at 9PM.
