The Hills To Air Eight Bonus Episodes Early Next Year

So, what did you think of last night's finale of The Hills? Did you think it lived up to the hype? That it was anticlimactic?

Either way, you won't be missing The Hills for long -- Lauren announced on last night's live show that eight bonus episodes of the series will air on MTV in early 2008.

I guess we're not getting rid of LC, Heidi, Spencer and gang that easily!

The Hills Season 3 Trailer Teases Lots of Drama

I never watched Laguna Beach -- just didn't see the appeal. The Hills, on the other hand, is nothing but guilty pleasure goodness, and I love every second of it. And based on the trailer for Season 3 of the show, the drama isn't stopping anytime soon!

When we last left LC and company, Lauren and Heidi were on the outs due to evil, evil Spencer (who may be the single most unlikable personality ever to appear on television). Anyone who reads US Weekly knows that the two haven't patched things up (as well as the fact that Heidi has gotten breast implants and completely fallen under the spell of the dastardly Spencer), and if the trailer for Season 3 is any indication, a reconciliation between the two is highly unlikely.

In addition to the Heidi/Lauren drama, apparently Audrina is LC's new roommate, Whitney is graduating from college, and both Brody Jenner and Jason Wahler make return appearances. Should be a great season!

An Idol Wannabe Hits the Town

If you were in contention for the biggest title in music and television, would you be at home, making sure you are eating well and getting the right amount of sleep, or would you be hitting the clubs with MTV starlets?

If your name is Chris Richardson, I guess the answer is "Party!!!!!"

Hey, I'm all for having a good time, and I'm actually kinda fond of LC and think she and Chris would make a cute couple. From my perspective, however, there will be plenty of time to mack on the ladies when his tenure on the show ends, and for now he (and the others) should be focused on the task at hand. My bet is Melinda and LaKisha are not out risking their voices in loud clubs, but rather getting rest and working on their Top 8 performances.

But hey, to each his own. Go get her, Chris.
